  • Very easy to achieve great results on the barbecue, Tell the app what you're cooking, and it will tell you when your food is done, Relatively inexpensive
  • Requires you to pierce the meat you're cooking, Monitors only one piece of meat at a time
  • Once you've grilled with this inexpensive temperature probe, you won't want to barbecue without it...

  • the size and portability is amazing, and the iDevices recipes option has me wishing I went to culinary school
  • Maybe included a few more grips for the thermometer prong, since these will tend to be worn out quickly

  • Sends notifications to your phone when your dish is done. Reliable preset temperature options. Allows you to set timers. Accurate temperature readings.
  • No display or alarm sound. Ineffective status lights
  • The iDevices iGrill Mini is a small connected thermometer that allows you to monitor the temperature of any dish you cook from your smartphone....

  • The iGrillmini has a temperature range of -22 to 572 degrees Fahrenheit, which is wider than most
  • The iGrillmini lacks a display and uses your smartphone or tablet screen instead
  • The iGrillmini does its job well, but it relies entirely on your smartphone or tablet. This isn't necessarily a problem, but it would be nicer if the base station had a small display. Overall though, the thermometer is extremely easy to use and offers muc...

  • The iGrill mini provides an inexpensive way to take the guesswork out of cooking meat. How would you like your steak done? Rare? Medium rare? One of the trickiest aspects of cooking is making sure meat is done to the right temperature. Take yo...

  • The iGrill Mini is simple to set up on your iOS device. It lets you cook your food to temp without the bother of having to check on its progress manually.
  • iDevices claims that its probe has a 150-foot range via Bluetooth Smart, but I had connectivity issues at shorter distances. I wish it had a backup charger for those times when you don't have a CR2032 coin battery handy.
  • The $39.99 iGrill Mini is a well-designed gadget that works. If you like the idea of hands-off cooking, this pint-sized probe is for you.

  • iGrillmini ($40) is iDevices' sequel to its late 2010/early 2011 product, iGrill. The core concept is the same, but the Bluetooth app-enabled grilling thermometer has been significantly redesigned, and now comes in a much smaller and more affordable packa...
