  • Easy to setup and use, Vast array of apps that fulfills almost any bedside need, Bright screen, loud alarm and USB input and headphone jack,
  • Pandora sometimes stutters during playback, Touchscreen is not capacitive, Video plays at an unwatchable frame rate

  • Touch screen. Streams Internet radio and programs like Pandora. Decent file support.
  • Touch screen is not very responsive. Useful widgets are few and far-between. Built-in speakers are weak. No Aux input. No audio-out jack.
  • Stick with your old-school alarm clock to wake up and your computer or smartphone for portable entertainment—the Chumby One is underachieving and overpriced....

  • Plays range of content from internet sources, local files, and FM radio. You can organize groups of apps together. Motion sensor allows developers to create specialized apps. Optional battery-pack support.
  • Ads! Can’t program FM radio presets. Video quality is slightly choppy. Interface and attitude sink without the original’s soft physical design. Speaker is lackluster. Optional battery has been discontinued, making it harder to find.
  • The Chumby One tunes in internet content and serves as a supercharged clock radio… with ads. Its new features are interesting, but the One lacks the warm-fuzzy appeal of its predecessor.Chumby One...

  • Amazing alarm clock; supports thousands of widgets and apps; FM radio is handy; new battery and faster CPU.
  • We miss the second USB port and stereo speaker; available only in white; no beanbag.

  • The Chumby One is a fun and adaptable way to bring bite-size Web apps and streaming Internet radio to any corner of your home or office.
  • The Chumby One doesn't excel at any particular feature; its design feels toylike; and the optional battery pack lasts only 1 hour.
  • It's hard to say if the Chumby One works better as an alarm clock, a photo frame, a news reader, or as an Internet radio, but for around $100, it's a great value in any incarnation. Read full review

  • Extrait:  To call the Chumby One an alarm clock is the understatement of the year. This pint-sized internet-connected gem with its bright, sharp and responsive touchscreen goes way beyond that. It connects to your Wi-Fi network, hooking you up to hundreds of wid...

  • Won't break the bank, Cheap, effective way to stream music, Optional cordless operation
  • No squeeze sensor, Small display, Looks cheap
  • Unlike the Chumby Classic -- which has cost anywhere between $200 and $600 over the past couple years depending on color and cover design -- the Chumby One at $100 is cheap enough so that you can effectively buy it without having any idea what you'll use ...

  • Extrait:  The new Chumby One model ditches the old beanbag casing for a retro-clock-radio-inspired look and slashes the price, though the internals are unchanged. It remains a pretty frivolous gadget, yet I can't help really liking it. The Price $100 for a limi...
