  • The vivid 10in screen and light travelling weight are both attractive features in this well-priced netbook, but there are some annoying flaws too ...

  • While we regrettably couldn’t test the entry-level Ubuntu Linux version of the Dell Inspiron Mini 10v at £199, we did find that the Windows version at £249 preserved the essential features of the original Mini 10, such as the wide, flat ke...

  • The Mini 10v takes the netbook back to its Small, Cheap Computer ideal and the end product is difficult to seriously criticise - the rather dowdy styling, silly SD card slot design and crippled out-of-the-box Linux OS notwithstanding. Of course, the f...

  • Inexpensive,
  • No edge to edge glass screen,
  • Dell Inspiron Mini 10v is a basic Netbook offers features of the expensive Mini 10 but keeps the price below $300. We will recommend this computer to you if you are looking for a basic Netbook. ...

  • Attractive design, decent performance for demanding tasks like Web video
  • Finicky touch pad makes pointing and clicking a pain; not much in the way of preloaded software
  • A great starter machine for a kid or teen, but even budget-conscious adults may end up disappointed

  • As good as a laptop, easy to read, typing is smooth and uncramped, Small size, long battery life, huge hard drive, decent performance for standard office applications, web camera, built in wireless, 3 usb ports, awesome execution of the Windows 7.
  • Keyboard is still a bit small for the average touch typist, funky screen resolution makes loading some applications difficult, Adapter housing thin and cheap.
  • I wont say that it’s a headturner or anything even close by, but I seriously hope that Dell tries to come up with something new atleast in the looks department. Apart from that I guess the price is pretty much worth the features if not more. And I...

  • Same basic chassis as Dells more expensive Netbooks; very low entry price.
  • Limited configuration options; inset screen is not as nice as the Mini 10s edge-to-edge glass.
  • Dells Mini 10v keeps a lot of the features of the more expensive Mini 10, while dropping the price below $300. Its one of only a handful of $299 Netbooks that doesnt look and feel especially cheap.

  • Very aggressively priced. Almost 8 hours of battery life. Other colors are available as options. Option for 802.11n WiFi.
  • Touchpad and mouse buttons are difficult to use. Design is plain. 120GB is not a deal breaker, but its smaller than those of its competitors.
  • The Dell Mini 10v is one of the most affordable netbooks money can buy, and 8 hours of battery life isnt too shabby either....
