  • The Tai-Chi is one of the most expensive cases weve reviewed - 17kg of aluminium doesnt come cheap. The Lian Li PC-767 costs less and oozes quality, something that cant be said of the Tai-Chi, which, despite its prodigious girth, doesnt feel especi...

  • Plenty of expansion room; constructed to aid overclocking, tool-free expansion card bays.
  • In order to swap out one hard drive, you need to disconnect them all; visual appearance a challenge to spousal acceptance factor.
  • Its not the prettiest case in town, but the Thermaltake Tai-Chi lends itself very well to aggressive overclockers.

  • Solid Chassis, Future proof BTX upgradeable, Very good airflow, Semi ToolFree, Ton of drive bays, Removable motherboard tray, Caster wheels, Automatic door opener, Easy to mount water block, Builtin water cooling system, Nice looking case
  • No fan speed control for any fan, Small pump & reservoir, No room for certain types of GPU water blocks, Fan RPM cables useless, Drive module only allows for 3 drives, Sticky Foam pad a pain to remove, Poor location for tubing run, No grill on exhaust fan
  • Often times one gets an impression of things through visual impressions and the most common is through word of mouth. My impression of Thermaltakes Tai-Chi was one of a big case and plenty of room. After seeing it first hand, some of that impression i...

  • Extrait:  IntroductionThere are extremes to everything in life, and products are certainly not an exception - especially technology products. Earlier, we looked at one of the ends of the extremes in computer cases with Dynapowers super-affordable E68 in additio...

  • So, we came to the most important discussion of the day: is the high price of the new Thermaltake Tai-Chi case justified? Let’s do a few simple math1ematical calculations. A case of this kind made of similar materials will cost you at least $200-$25...

  • The Tai Chi is an excellent addition to Thermaltakes lineup. The case provides something that isnt available on any of their other cases (and in fact, very few cases in general). The ability to add a watercooling system without having to pre-mod the...

  • Extrait:  There is so much room in the case you dont have to worry about whether or not everything is going to fit. In fact, the toughest part about the install was deciding exactly where I wanted my 5.25" drive bays to be installed in relation to the power swi...

  • Extrait:  Introduction Now Thermaltake is not often known for being very original. In general, the designs are very heavily influenced by others in the industry with the additional of gaudy shiny lights. When the Tai Chi arrived for testing, I scoured the web fo...

  • Fantastic performance, Exceptionally solid construction, Convection fins on case rock!, FDD/Power button/LED indicator insert, Bezel tray for CDs, tools, whatever, Tool free drive installation with thumb screws, BTX compatible, Screw type water line fitti...
  • Solid construction also equates to heavy, Not exactly inexpensive at $464, Have to be careful and attentive to water lines to ensure you dont kink them.
  • As you can see, performance wise, the Thermaltake Tai Chi case performs exceptionally well. I was surprised to see it surpass our Tt Symphony which is one of the more impressive water coolers Ive ever seen. The Tai Chi bested this by almost three d...

  • Unique styling; cooling capacity; quality fit and finish.
  • Expensive; may be incompatible with some power supplies; awkward hydraulic door opener.
  • A great case if you can afford it....
