Extrait: Video Review: When I first saw the Thermaltake BachVx Case I thought Home Theatre PC, because of its piano-black paint finish and brushed aluminum silver front. This case would look excellent next to audio/video gear. There are plenty of drive bays for a mid-tower case, tool-free design and excellent ventilation. I really like the fact they have a large 140mm intake fan at the front of the case. There are even two USB ports, a mic and headphone jack, as well as a eSATA port at the top of the case. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.
Great looking, unique Case, Tool-less installation, Silent operation with additional cooling options available.
May need to remove the HD cage with 8800GTX installed.
Thermaltake proves themselves once again with the unique styling and feature filled arrival of the Bach VX Case. Pushing the limits of stylish looks and delivering a Case worthy of the Thermaltake branding. The worry Id have is using a GPU like the 88...
Classic looks and clean lines, Stealthy drive bay covers, Swing out front bezel, Aluminum front bezel, Rubber grommet HDD mounting points, Tool free optical drive installation, Great airflow and low noise, Included 140mm and 120mm fan, Priced right
Steel construction, Top mounted access ports, Limit the size of the PSU, Makes installation a bit harder, Limited number of thumb screws for installation of HDDs
The phrase used for this case is "Charm the Ordinary". Now the question is whether or not Thermaltake accomplished that with the Bach VX. The Bach VX doesnt bring a lot of splash and flash to the table, but it does have nice clean lines, a classic lo...
Lots of user friendly features like the tool-free drive bays and PCI slots, fan slots, thumbscrews, Looks pretty, Front panel is very easy to open, making it simple to clean the dust filter, Big fans for silent cooling, Front and side panels can be l...
PSU needs to be installed first, PSU is hard to install and bigger than average PSUs wont fit, Some sharp edges, Hard drive cage needs to be removed if you want to install large graphics cards. However, since the Bach VX is a mid-tower and not a full-tow...
For most people the Bach VX will be a superb case - it has great looks and its very user friendly. The case has a great build quality and is very silent with its big 120mm (15dbA) and 140mm (16dbA) fans. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that th...
Great build quality, Great and simple installation mostly screwless, Will fit exotic drive bay devices, Two large fans included 120 mm & 140 mm, Good internal layout, Silent operation, Locks to secure the system, Case open switch, Front fan has dust filte...
Large video cards may conflict with hard drive
The Thermaltake Bach Vx is one of the rare cases which keeps surprising you all the way from unboxing to the finished system. You will most likely catch yourself just looking at the case for a few seconds after unpacking it. Then the joy continues when...
