  • Captures the retro feel of the original, Great presentation, Online multiplayer!!, Community website integration
  • Very basic gameplay, lacks innovation.
  • It’s not all about running though and in many events, including hurdles or triple-jump, it’s a mixture of speed, determination and timing as you combine this arm-aching movement with the press of the action button in order to launch yourself o...

  • Nostalgically sweaty satisfaction, Outscribbling your mates, Unlocking Belmont and Pyramid Head
  • Uncomfortable and tiring controls, Gameplay is as shallow as the original, Being accused of selfabuse

  • Stylus functions make past button mashing easier; online community functions well; unlockable characters are worth the trouble.
  • Graphics a bit disjointed between presentation and play; 3D character models come off a bit creepy.
  • If you have some Olympic fever left over and don’t feel like shelling out for a certain Olympic game featuring two very popular gaming mascots, then New International Track and Field may be worth diving into.

  • Touch Screen controls; uneven difficulty; Dualscreen causes difficulty in some events.

  • Extrait:  Anyone who knows the DS well has come to accept that it is not the most extremely powerful machine in terms of graphics processing. So with that in mind I did not expect much in terms in the visual department. This being said, right off the hop I notic...

  • Extrait:  The formula that most track-and-field games follow was established in the early 80s with Track and Field. The majority of events demanded that players slam alternately on two buttons as fast as they possibly could, a controller-breaking maneuver that ...

  • Eight classic Konami characters to unlock, Good multiplayer, both online and off, 24 different events with their own strategies, Touch screen or standard control options.
  • High learning curve, Uneven difficulty, The games stylus controls can scratch your DS.
  • Rapidly tapping buttons is still exhausting, but tight controls and a bunch of unlockables make this a worthy update. ...

  • Extrait:  The original Track & Field in the arcades had major wrist-cramping potential, and Track & Field for the NES was among a handful of button mashing games that prematurely caused the death of many controllers - at least until people smartened up and plugg...
