  • Stylish. Surprisingly compact. GPS recording of data. Basic navigation a useful tool. Wireless synching

  • No software provided, price
  • The Forerunner 405 delivers on its promises, putting a whole range of data at your fingertips, but at a price. With fitness add-ons appearing for a range of devices you know that the Forerunner means business...

  • Userfriendly online software with integrated Google Maps and enough graphs for a PowerPoint presentation. Builtin GPS means no extra pods needed. Tracks routes so youll never get lost again.
  • Plasticky heartrate monitor strap is uncomfortable. Poor satellite reception on overcast days shortchanged our speed and distance. Sorry, triathletes: Its still not sealed for swimming.

  • Touchbezel control takes some practice to master, Heart rate monitor strap must be moist to provide accurate readings.
  • GPS for runners gets more sleek and compact than ever with the Garmin Forerunner 405 sports watch. Runners have been enjoying the precision of GPS workout and race tracking with the Forerunner 305, one model below the 405. But the 305 is bulky. The new...
