As with televisions, the 3D compatibility of the VPL-VW90ES adds a significant premium to the price – it’s an expensive product, even by home cinema projectors standards. There are minor issues worthy of consideration too: the unit itself is very large, and there’s a fair bit of fan noise belting out of it when it’s doing its thing – enough to be distracting during quieter movie scenes.
