  • High quality sound and vision. Allows you to go HD without choosing between Blu-ray and HD-DVD. No buying new copies of all your DVDs
  • More expensive than some HD players. Bulky. And it’s not true HD, no matter how good the upscaling
  • The price is steep but if you want to go HD, shelling out for new-format discs of your movie collection could be steeper ...
