  • The system delivers superb pictures from Blu-ray discs, packed with detail and clean colour. Audio quality is also generally strong, with the five surround speakers equally comfortable when serving up loud surround effects or subtle, more nuanced detail. It’s easy to set up too (thanks to colour-coded speaker connectors) and loads and starts Blu-rays far more quickly than most of its rivals.
  • The overall look of the BDV-E370 is disappointingly nondescript, but more irritating is the lack of HDMI inputs for hooking up other HD sources (a PS3, for instance). You also have to pay £70 extra for Sony’s own dongle if you want to upgrade to Wi-Fi – non-Sony dongles won’t work. On the performance front, the subwoofer has a tendency to overpower louder scenes with formless booming.
  • A fine entry-level 3D Blu-ray system. Sound isn’t perfect, and you’ll find more features on certain rivals – but video performance is fantastic.Sony BDV-E370 is tagged with Sony BVD-E370, Blu-Ray and audio. Select a tag (Sony BVD-E370, for example) to ...

  • A fantastic Blu-ray player paired with decidedly substandard speakers. It's still tempting at this price but we recommend spending more. ...

  • The system does a stellar job with Blu-ray movies in both two and three dimensions, delivering incredibly detailed pictures bursting with punchy colours, sharp edges and deep, dark black levels. Standard def DVD upscaling is handled with aplomb too. The speakers may be small but they’re not shy: they belt out audio with surprising force, blowing most rival compact all-in-ones out of the water whe
  • Putting on our nitpicking cap, we could point to the lack of HDMI inputs and a dedicated iPod dock as flaws – but given the price tag (and the fact you can hook up your iPod via USB), we’ll forgive Sony these minor missteps.
  • A low price, great performance and a cracking selection of tech features. An outstanding entry-level all-in-one, all things considered.Best offers for the Sony BDV-E370 3D home cinemaAmazon Marketplace £319.99 Pixmania £320.00 Amazon UK £321.27 Electri...

  • 3D and surround sound in one package; not a bad price if you shop around; great picture; clear sound
  • Not all that loud; a little ugly; wireless rear speakers require optional module
  • The Sony BDV-E370 is not a bad piece of kit if you can get it for closer to £300 than £500. 3D is a great bonus and we did like most of the features of this home cinema system. Sound wasn't perfect but, for smaller rooms, it's pretty reasonable....

  • Full to bursting with features, superb sound and video performance for the money
  • HDMI inputs would be handy, no on-screen iPod control

  • Extrait:  The BDV-E370 is a wonderful system, boasting superb Blu-ray performance and a plethora of slick features, including 3D compatibility. But it's a shame that Wi-Fi is only available as an optional..

  • Excellent value for what’s on offer, very good picture performance, impressive online functionality, likeable and immersive audio, supports 3D playback
  • 3D playback requires software update, price nudges up with optional extras onboard, problems with bass, there are no HDMI inputs, and the system looks a touch dour
  • A highly capable, 3D-ready Blu-ray home cinema system with a very tempting price tag, if you don’t mind missing out on the optional extras ...

  • Picture quality, 3D support, networking features, ease of use
  • Main unit design, expensive Wi-Fi dongle, boomy subwoofer
  • The BDV-E370 deserves praise for its wealth of features, 3D support and excellent picture performance, but the bass performance isn't the greatest ...

  • 3D capable, Fast disc loading, Good audio and video quality
  • Lacklustre looks, Need to purchase optional extras for full functionality
  • Taking the BDV-E370's features, performance and ease of use into consideration, you can't fail to be impressed. There's a style and slickness behind everything it does, and most pleasingly it delivers better sound quality than most of its similarly priced...

  • It may not be the prettiest system around, but in most other respects this is a great home cinema kit from Sony. It’s easy to use, produces great sounding audio and delivers crisp HD pictures for the price. It would have notched up a slightly higher ...
