The XtremeMac Tango X2 offers an understated design and a built-in iPod dock. It includes both AM and FM tuners, an auxiliary line input, and a remote. It has mostly clean-sounding audio.
The XtremeMac Tango X2 can sound muffled or overly bright at times. The radios only offer limited presets and no autoscan function, and the remote cant navigate through the iPods menu.
Other than the inclusion of both AM and FM radio, theres nothing to make XtremeMac Tango X2 stand out from the considerable crowd of iPod speaker options. Its just fine--nothing more, nothing less.
