  • Compatible with numerous audio and video files, easy to use, clear, colourful picture
  • Sounds flat and unexciting, plain looks and dated menus

  • Stacks of file support. Great sound quality
  • Poor UI. Disappointing screen
  • A worthy attempt at dethroning Archos, but an infuriating interface sees it fall behind the leading pack ...

  • Extrait:  Cowons stylish-looking O2 is a pocket-sized portable media player. It has a touch-screen interface and supports a wide range of multimedia file formats. Unlike the larger Q5W (Whats New, Shopper 249), the O2 has a plastic rather than an aluminium ...

  • Great format support; superb audio; excellent media control,
  • No wireless; display could have been better
  • The O2 offers some clear advantages over the competition...

  • The O2 is very much a game of two halves. Format and codec support is superb and itll play pretty much any resolution video file you throw at it. The sound quality is excellent if a little on the quiet side, it is Biblically straightforward to use, a...

  • Extrait:  Overall the O2 is a tidy package that offers excellent audio with an impressive degree of format support and control. Despite the rather basic design of the chassis it should provide some healthy competition for the other PMPs currently doing the roun...

  • Though it may not have internet browsing capabilities or much in the way of advanced features, the Cowon O2 is a solid portable media player. Thanks to its support for a wide range of file types, youll spend less time trying to convert videos from on...

  • The Cowon O2 is a strong and versatile PMP with excellent file format support. It's short of advanced features and the GUI could do with some work, but if you have a large digital media library that you'd like to take on the move, it's a very good option....

  • Extrait:  A hugely versatile touchscreen portable media player from Cowon We looked at – and loved – Cowon's Q5 media player not too long ago. The O2 is smaller, costs half as much and while the features list is cut roughly by half too, it does pack a lot for it...

  • The 4.3-inch widescreen touchscreen is responsive, big and beautiful. Flash, meanwhile, not only saved everyone of us, but with vast amounts of Flash memory onboard (Up to 32GB), it means you can store entire DVD box sets onboard the O2 while keeping batt...
  • Compared to a svelte iPod Touch, it's a clunky brick of a PMP: at nearly 2cm thick it's almost too big to hold if you're forced to stand on the train. While we like the ability to browse your tunes with video running in the background, the mus...
  • A few more features like Wi-Fi would have been welcome, but we still love using the Cowon O2 - with the ability to play back almost any video format without conversion proving a crucial time saver. Not sure naming it after a telephone network's a good...
