  • Extrait:  As part of its range of DigiWalker SatNav devices, Mio has released its C220 model. Although at the more budget end of its product line up, the C220 packs an impressive amount of functionality into a unit that measures 108 x 81 x 24mm (H x W x D) and ...

  • Extrait:  The DigiWalker C220 is our pick of the budget devices. It costs just £130, and it runs the excellent MioMap v3 software, which you also get if you buy the considerably more expensive DigiWalker C520. You miss out on many of the C520's extras, including a...

  • Low weight; smart mapping; sensitive navigation; speed cameras included
  • Cramped screen; illogical interface; stuffy voice guidance; expensive European maps
  • A street-smart navigator that takes both long-distance driving and tourist wandering in its stride. If youre after an entry-level sat-nav, dont let the prim voice guidance, cramped screen and weird interface put you off -- this navigator is built to...

  • Extrait:  I've never owned a pocket knife. I discovered long ago when my grandfather gave me my first Coleman multi-tool that a simple blade that tucks into its own handle is nothing compared to a nice multi-tool with screwdrivers, blades, saws, ect…So when I bough...

  • Compact, lightweight design, Easy-to-read maps, Responsive touchscreen
  • Low volume, Screen hard to read in sunlight, No external volume button, No live traffic option
  • As GPS prices fall, Mio is rising as a top contender in the affordable-navigation arena. For less than $300, the Mio DigiWalker C220 works right out of the box and gets you where you need to go with little hassle. While we have a few quibbles (like no ...

  • Extrait:  I tend to do a bit of driving now and then, and while I’m actually quite good at getting myself to somewhere that I’ve been before, I’m not always the best at getting there the first time. I’ve never owned a GPS unit, but after I h...

  • Extrait:  The Mio C220 has lots of features in common with the C520, including the fact that it is highly customizable. Ill have more details in the pros and cons list further down the review. Generally speaking, the Mio C220 does a fine job of routing, though...

  • Excellent value. Full-featured GPS at entry-level price. Sensitive GPS receiver. Supports multisegment routing. Good POI handling. Traffic-camera locator.
  • No text-to-speech conversion. Speaker not very loud at highway speeds.
  • For those who dont need fancy features like media players and text-to-speech conversion, the Mio DigiWalker C220 is an excellent choice for an entry-level personal navigation system....

  • It may be a little confusing to use in places, but the C220's weaknesses are easy to get used to over time. Most importantly, both mapping and route-finding are strong points – this is one navigation device that does exactly what it says on the tin....
