  • If you're looking to buy a pocket camcorder that is sleek, attractive, and easy to use, you can't go wrong with the Sony Bloggie Touch MHS-TS10. You'll find other pocket camcorders that produce better video image quality, however. ...

  • The screen is really where the Bloggie Touch bests its competitors. At 3-inches, it gives the camera the feel of a smartphone rather than a camcorder, but also makes framing pictures much easier than on less capacious models. There’s an accelerometer so controls are always in the right place no matter which way you hold the gadget. Clips are commendably colourful and are easily uploaded via USB o
  • The massive screen does come with a downside: there’s no real space at the bottom to hold the Bloggie Touch when using it vertically. That means you get really bad camera shake unless you turn it round and use horizontally. The lens could be better, with stills not exactly measuring up to what we expect from a 12 megapixel plus sensor.
  • This isn’t the cheapest flash-based camcorder going. But it comes with the kind if sturdy build and top-end features we’ve come to expect from Sony. If you like your kit to have a bit more to it than the basics, but don’t want to break the bank, then t...

  • Easy to just pick up and use, Built-in USB arm means you don't have to search for the cord, Records full 1080p and can also take 12 megapixel photos
  • No expansion card slot, so stuck at built-in 4GB or 8GB depending on model, Useless in low light scenarios, No optical image stabilization, The pants pocket has largely remained the same in terms of size over the last 50 years. Gadgets, and more important

  • Responsive, bright touchscreen, Simple, easy to learn and use UI and controls, Crisp, accurate stills and videos, Ability to take stills during recording, Slim, sleek, minimalist design
  • No SD card slot, No audio output jack, Chassis scratches easily; screen easily smudged, Can be awkward to hold when shooting stills
  • Considering what you get for the price, the Sony Bloggie Touch stands among the top of its competition....

  • Great video quality in good lighting, Very slim, Good touchscreen
  • No flash, Digital zoom ruins video and photo quality
  • If you use the Bloggie in bright rooms or outdoors at a closer distance to your subject the little camera works great. If you resort to digital zoom, the image quality is ruined quickly and the lack of flash makes the camera useless in a dark room. ...

  • Attractive, lightweight, and small; full use of 3-inch screen for shooting; autofocus macro; captures stills while shooting video; simple to use
  • Autofocus can be slow, no memory expansion, no HDMI cable included, no mic or headphone jack, weak software
  • If you're looking for a simple shoot-and-share minicamcorder, the Bloggie Touch is a good option--that is, as long as you understand its limitations.
