  • In conclusion, you will absolutely appreciate this product provided you add two main ingredients: an extreme set-up and lots of courage. The conclusion is clear and simple. The new ContourRoam underwater camcorder is a good acquisition at an affordable p...

  • Contour's cheapest camera is also its most versatile -- it's waterproof to a depth of one metre. This should make it great for all-weather sports (think surfing, skiing, whitewater rafting) where other Contour models or competing sports cameras require...

  • Extrait:  The ContourROAM is a POV action camera that competes head-to-head with the GoPro line. The ContourROAM is the $200 entry-level model of Contour’s POV camera lineup. There are a couple of key things that separate Contour cameras from GoPro. First, the ...

  • At $199 the ContourROAM isn’t the cheapest rugged camera around, but you’re getting more for your money than just a tough, waterproof housing. The convenience factor of the single control makes it just as useful as a second eye when you’re manually op...

  • The ContourRoam manages to make Contour's already easy-to-use control scheme even easier by combining the power and record buttons. The ultrawide-angle lens makes framing a point-and-shoot affair. HD video quality is good
  • The omission of dual recording modes and Bluetooth connectivity makes it impossible to change video or photo modes on the fly. A microSD card is not included in the purchase price
  • The ContourRoam finally matches the rugged construction and ultrawide field of view of the competition, while still excelling as a sports camera with its ease of use and low price.

  • Easy to start recording. Rugged and waterproof design
  • All settings have to be tweaked via computer, no on-board switches. Laser is rather weak and hard to see in bright situations
  • The Contour Roam will suit action adventurers who just want to point and shoot. Adjusting settings on the fly is next to impossible, so if tweaking's your deal, look elsewhere....
