  • Vibrant screen, excellent camera
  • Poor design, average battery life, some may find the software over-complicated
  • Even though it's officially James Bond's phone, we found it hard to get excited about the Xperia T. It's a great phone performance-wise, and the screen and camera are among the best we've seen, but it struggles to stand out from the crowd with its dull...

  • Display mostly great, powerful enough, affordable, microSD card slot, some nice tweaks from Sony
  • The design is a bit on the chunky side, positioning of buttons is irritating, battery isn't great, UI could be tidier
  • There are a handful of pros and cons with the Xperia T. A great display offers a UI that has some great tweaks, but we're not sold on the overall design of this handset....

  • The Sony Xperia T is one of the very best smartphones out there for multimedia. Its HD screen is huge and absolutely gorgeous, with wide viewing angles and bright colours: it also takes up most of the entire front face of the phone as Sony’s sensibly worked the Android navigation buttons into the display, as Samsung did with the hit Galaxy Nexus phone. Its 13 megapixel camera is no slouch either,
  • While the Sony Xperia T sports one of the absolute finest displays you can find anywhere on the planet right now, it’s let down by a rather uninspiring casing otherwise: the 9.4mm profile is rather chunky (particularly disappointing when the battery doesn’t last quite as long as rivals) and the matte finish picks up fingerprints like a crime scene investigator. And like the Xperia S before it, le
  • Sony’s always left us with the impression that it’s playing catch up with its rivals in mobile, and while the Sony Xperia T is a perfectly decent device, it’s lacking the little flourishes and bleeding edge bits and bobs that really make it stand out. ...

  • Bold and large HD screen; powerful camera; smooth user interface
  • Not the latest Android Jelly Bean software; Processor could have been faster; lots of bloatware apps
  • The Xperia T is one of Sony's best Android efforts yet, but when compared to the incredibly high standard of the competition, it's not quite as impressive as it should be....

  • Quick capture on camera, Great screen, PlayStation Certified, MicroSD, James Bond has one
  • Only 16GB internal storage, No Android Jelly Bean, Mediocre battery performance, Similar to earlier model
  • The Sony Xperia T is a very, very good phone. Everything about it is slick and well-executed and the performance is certainly what we expect from a now-£300 device. However, the Sony Xperia S was a very, very good phone, and the Xperia Z is also a very, ...

  • Brilliant camera, Feels like a premium device, NFC can be useful
  • Screen could be brighter, Can sometimes feel a bit sluggish
  • verdict In most Android handset bouts, the Galaxy S3 would come out on top as the superior smartphone – you can't argue with Popup Play and Smart Stay for next-gen giddiness. And then there's incredible battery life. But for some gadgeteers the plasticky ...

  • Extrait:  The Sony Xperia T is Sony's new flagship phone, packing in a 13MP camera, NFC, and Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It's also going to feature in the next Bond film, but is it more license to kill or license to ill? Design There's no two ways about it, we're n...
