  • Affordable QWERTY smartphone.
  • plasticky, odd design not for everyone.
  • This quirky looking Nokia is indeed a good budget smartphone. We get so few S60 smartphones in the US via a carrier (most are sold as unlocked phones sans contract) that it's great to see the affordable Nokia Surge join its more expensive business-ori...

  • The Nokia Surge packs in a lot of features--a full HTML browser with Flash Lite support, 3G support, GPS--for an affordable price. The smartphone also provides access to social networking sites.
  • The phone has a number of design quirks and doesnt have the best build quality. You cant dial numbers without opening the keyboard.
  • The Nokia Surge offers AT&Ts younger customers an affordable, feature-rich smartphone, but it has a number of design and interface issues.

  • Great reception. Good music and video playback. Built-in document editing and Exchange support. Powerful Web browser.
  • Awful camera. Difficult-to-use keyboard. Have to open the handset sideways to dial numbers. Requires expensive smartphone data plan.
  • The Nokia Surge offers a good keyboard and plenty of smartphone power, but its not as powerful or easy to use as other AT&T smartphones....

  • Great keyboard. Full smartphone OS in a small package. Nice Web browser, especially for a compact device. ...
  • Aging Symbian OS not as friendly as other smartphones, or simpler feature phones. Lacks advanced IM and SMS options. ...
  • The Nokia Surge is something of an ugly duckling among the inexpensive, full-QWERTY messaging phone set. Actually, its not even that ugly, and with its Symbian S60 smartphone OS, its definitely more swan than duck. If you skip the junk that AT&T ha...
