  • Solidly built, Uncluttered Android 2.2 OS, Great battery life, Some clever custom LG widgets
  • Bland design, Processor struggles when asked to perform, Low-res screen makes web reading a chore, No Flash Player 10.1 support
  • Featuring a simple back-to-basics approach by LG, the Optimus One is a sturdy and affordable way to get into Android – especially since it's the first really cheap phone to come with Android 2.2.However, the 600MHz processor and lower resolution screen pl...

  • Extrait:  The smartphone market is growing at such an incredible rate - but only at the more expensive end. Those looking to take the plunge into the world of apps and touchscreens on a budget have had very little to play with - but now that’s starting to cha...

  • LG's tinkering isn't too aggressive, Android 2.2, smartphone features at an affordable price
  • Low resolution display, camera performance isn't anything to get excited about, flex in the display centre means the capacitive display behaves more like a resistive one
  • There are a few shortcomings you’ll have to swallow, but as it is, the LG Optimus One is relatively unfettered and as such, doesn't do much to offendKey specs3 megapixels, 3.5mm jack, 3G, Android, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPRS, GPS, GSM, HSDPA, Li-ion batt...

  • Runs the latest version of Android, 2.2; responsive capacitive touchscreen; cheap; packed with smart-phone features
  • Low-resolution screen; ugly LG software icons; looks boring; no Flash support
  • The LG Optimus One P500 smart phone packs plenty of punch, offering all the joys of Android 2.2 at a rock-bottom price. We just wish LG's tweaks to Android didn't look so clumsy....

  • Extrait:  Everybody loves shiny new gadgets, especially shiny new Android phones, but the price tag often makes us (and our wallets) cringe. The good news is that nowadays, buying one doesn't mean you have to scrimp and eat instant ramen for the rest of the year. T...

  • The UI is as good for Froyo as it was with the previous version of Android
  • The handset proves that a 3.2-inch display for web browsing just feels inadequate with a problematic pinch to zoom

  • LG Optimus One is a set of features, with nice capacitive touchscreen, smooth interface, codecs support, and good design. We’d like to see better pictures in low light, a more fluid browser, or adequate support of Adobe Flash, but adding a faster chip...
