Weak video playbackPoor camcorderLow-res screen
Well, we didn't have high expectation for the Wildfire to begin with, and having played with it we were even less stoked. In general, this handset's seriously lacking in multimedia features, and then we have the screen problem plus the occasional lag. Tha...

Extrait: The HTC Wildfire is the company’s second attempt at a budget Android device, its predecessor being the underspecified and relatively unloved Tattoo. Packing the same Sense UI as more expensive siblings like the Legend and Desire, together with a 5-mega...
Small, comfortable size, Light – easy to pocket without looking odd, Android 2.1 with HTC Sense, Capacitive touch screen display, Multi touch, Amazing signal reception – works in some places other Next G handsets refuse to work
Android 2.1 with HTC Sense, Screen is too small for some popular Android apps, Optical trackpad/trackball thing, Lacklustre CPU for a 2010 phone release, Some audio artefacts during calls, Hardware
As someone who likes to multi-task – e.g. enjoying streaming radio while composing an email and flicking back and forth between Twitter, web sites, and email, a phone with more power is a must. Trying to perform this same kind of activity on the Wildfire...
Good build quality, well-designed on-screen keyboard, HTC Sense UI, capacitive touchscreen, multitouch and Flash support, battery life
Low-resolution display with poor viewing angles, keystroke lag, often sluggish
The HTC Wildfire boasts impressive build quality and the full suite of Android features, but it has a low-resolution display and sluggish performance. When you consider its price though, these minor issues are much easier to live with and are a small comp...
The Wildfire is a lot of phone for comparably little money. If you can live without 3D gaming, the Wildfire will tick the rest of the boxes needed by most users from a modern smartphone.
Solid, ergonomic construction. Excellent suite of features. Mostly good performance. 2GB memory included
Low-res display. Not capable of playing 3D animations or high-quality video files
The Wildfire is a lot of phone for comparably little money. If you can live without 3D gaming, the Wildfire will tick the rest of the boxes needed by most users from a modern smartphone....
This is yet another slick phone from HTC. More importantly it delivers a lot of capability for people who cannot afford or do not want to pay for an expensive $900 Smartphone. Compared to the new iPhone 4 there are not too many features in the $999 that are worth an additional $650.
There is nothing shabby about this phone. However there is one capability that I would like to see and that is a better capability to eliminate applications. The Samsung S from Optus choked in a lot of crap applications. As for the Wildfire there are several applications that I don’t want on my phone and what I would like to see is that as part of the initialisation process users are given a choi
Compact design, HTC Sense UI improves default Android 2.1 UI functionality vastly, good social media integration, good connectivity (3.5G, Wi-fi, GPS)
Low resolution screen makes text and pictures look a little blurry, low video recording quality, pricier than competitors, lags at times
The HTC Wildfire sells for Rs. 15,300. Seems like a fair price if you compare its predecessor - the Tattoo - that sold for the same price back then. The Wildfire also has a considerable number of improvements over it. But when compared to a Samsung ...
Well built, looks neat, Good capacitive touch interface, Nice on screen QWERTY, Android based
Poor display resolution, Mediocre contrast, No memory card bundled
The Wildfire is good handset for those who aren’t looking for the very best touch-screen device around. It occupies a slot that is a couple of rungs lower than the top slew of touch devices, but offers a lot of features for the price. Interfacing is pr...
WiFi, GPS & 3G support, Very good Web browser, Google Mobile Services & Android Market support, Good Looking, Excellent Call Reception & Quality
Poor LowRes Screen, Terrible, terrible camera for outdoor shots
The HTC Wildfire is priced in India at Rs. 15,199. As a mid-segment smartphone, the HTC Wildfire will get plenty of attention and deserves it. However, if you are looking for a phone to blow you away, the Wildfire isn’t the one you are looking for. It...
