  • Build Quality, Performance Over Stock Solution, H.D.T Base, CPU Compatibility, Price
  • Loud At Load
  • With the Hyper TX3 Cooler Master is aiming at users whose main concern is the price and not real expectations when it comes to overclocking. Still the unit has a fine build quality and performs quite well allowing quite a large Overclock wi...

  • Something curious happened during our Hyper TX3 testing. The first sample we received from the manufacturer showed very bas results. The performance was so poor that our CPU entered Thermal Throttling mode even while idle. We contacted Cooler Master, w...

  • Affordable, Powerful cooling, Easy installation
  • Uses pushpin design
  • The Cooler Master Hyper TX3 has taken its first fully compatible Socket 1156 cooler and made it worthwhile. Its small design packs powerful cooling even with only one 92mm fan. The installation takes a different approach and adds some easy methods to ...

  • Extrait:  If you need a cooler for your new 1156 Core i5/i7 CPU, we recommend both the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and the Hyper TX3. Each of these are impressive and up to task, and while each have their differences, both are great products and deserve serious consideration for your purchase shortlist. ..

  • Extrait:  There was a time when it was tough to keep a single core CPU cool. Today with the average CPU containing anywhere between two and four cores there is increased need for bigger and better CPU coolers. That is just what Cooler Master has delivered. Today...

  • We've seen a good few number of Cooler Master's products over the course of time here at OC3D, and they've never failed to deliver in any category that we've seen yet. And neither of these coolers can be accused of breaking this streak. They are bot...

  • So in the end, Coolermaster once again restored my faith in their products. They won out over Evercool and especially the stock heatsink. And if that temperature difference alone isnt enough to make you want to buy the TX3, theres also the prices....

  • We didnt find any of the initial LGA1156 HSFs particularly great for cooling our heavily overclocked and overvolted Lynnfield CPU, though we didnt see any fail to keep the CPU within its thermal tolerance either. However, possibly the most annoying a...

  • Is the Coolermaster TX3 the second coming? Not at all. Is it the best cooler for the money at $20. YES. I suggest greatly that before you place that stock cooler on your next build spend the extra twenty bucks on the TX3. You will be a happy camper if ...

  • Great value, Nice performance, Silent, Option for another fan
  • No manual fan control
  • Priced around 27€, the hyper tx3 provides nice performance with decent sound levels. While not being the silentest cooler available, it is definately more silent than the Intel stock cooler and has half the price of Noctuas. Temperature levels with o...
