  • Windows 7 Runs Buttery Smooth, Great Value At $549-899, ThinkPad Toughness, Excellent Keyboard, Great Battery Life, Ultra Quiet And Cool, Well-Rounded, Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G Support
  • Glossy Display, Low Resolution Panel, No Optical Drive, Lackluster Gaming Performance, Only A 5400RPM HDD, No USB 3.0 Ports
  • As you've heard throughout this review, the ThinkPad Edge is a fine creation. It's a new take on a familiar form-factor by Lenovo, and while purists will find plenty to love, those who prefer fresher styling options will also find this machine very easy o...

  • Extrait:  To kick off 2010 Lenovo didn’t just refresh their standard models. Sure, the T500 is now the T510, but the bigger news was the release of an new series: ThinkPad Edge. The ThinkPads have classically been a computer aimed at big businesses, but with the...

  • Large, responsive touchpad, Our favorite Chiclet-style keyboard, Strong Wi-Fi reception, Reasonably bright LED-backlit display, Light weight, Handles basic computing tasks well, Clean initial software load
  • Expensive relative to specs, Insufficient for gaming and HD video, Krylon-looking paint job on lid, No discrete graphics cards available, No optical drive, Cumbersome ThinkVantage suite
  • Lenovo’s attempt to class up the ThinkPad line leaves it shinier, but not ready to compete for any style awards just yet....

  • in the mare or lose the halterWhen the ThinkPad is taken over by Lenovo, it is a most fatal problem about how to keep the tradition of ThinkPad while there are some breakthroughs at the same time. From the Thinkpad SL to the Thinkpad Edge, Lenovo Thi...

  • In general, the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge is a very successful updating of a staid notebook line that has been in desperate need of it for years. We found a few minor complaints (not enough status lights, for hard-drive access and Wi-Fi, for example), but ...

  • Great battery life, Lots of connectivity options
  • Performance suffers from low-voltage processor, No keyboard light or backlight
  • The ThinkPad Edge is a welcome refresh of Lenovo's workhorse line that improves look and feel without sacrificing the features that make ThinkPads so well-loved. ...

  • Great touch pad and keyboard, bright display, attractive looks,
  • Lacks optical drive which might be a deal breaker considering the price of the notebook,
  • Lenovo ThinkPad Edge gives you performance which all other laptop in this range offer. It has a new look which might lure fashion enthusiasts. However, we think the lack of optical drive is a deal breaker. ...

  • ThinkPad construction quality shrunken down and cheapened up for the masses. Very good performance and solid build quality for the price. Best keyboard in its class.
  • Iffy touchpad. Secondtier brands offer similar specs for even less. Integrated graphics.

  • Excellent keyboard and touch pad; compact body; bright display
  • The chassis could easily have held an optical drive, but doesn't, better configurations drive up the price significantly
  • With a relatively affordable starting price and a new design, the ThinkPad Edge loosens up the ThinkPad look--but losing an optical drive keeps it a yard short of being a top-choice compact business laptop. Read full review See all prices

  • Best Island-style keyboard yet. Dual pointing devices. Superb navigating experience. Lightweight. Affordable. Embedded 3G option.
  • New shiny lid is a smudge magnet. Not the speediest CULV laptop.
  • The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 13 lives up to its namesake, but there are better looking SMB laptops out there, with longer battery life....
