The Acer Aspire S7 is a premium-looking ultrabook, with great performance, strong battery life, and a high-res touch screen
The expensive S7 is priced well beyond most other touch-screen Windows 8 laptops. The touch pad is not as responsive as it should be
One of the few standout products from the first wave of Windows 8 laptops, the Acer Aspire S7 proves that Apple does not have a monopoly on great design.

All in all, the S7-391 is a nice laptop to use and show off. It would be nice to have an 8GB option and better battery life, but neither is essential for the vast majority of users. The design and overall usability are top notch. And it's an eye-catch...

Very thin. Very light. 180-degree angle on screen. Clamshell design. 10-point touch screen. Comes with mouse. Clean desktop mode screen. Dual friction on hinge. Standard laptop design with touch screen. 1080p screen. IPS display.
Mediocre battery life. Limited ports, requires dongles for VGA and Ethernet. Integrated graphics. Persistent cooling fans in high performance mode. Lots of premium features make this a pricey laptop
Though the Acer Aspire S7-391-9886 is a very good choice for the "money is no object" buyer, some quirks and a brief battery life keep this ultrabook from earning our highest honors....
Good workmanship, Extremely thin case, Lighter than MB Air 13, Full HD Display, Multi-touch panel, Very good viewing angles (IPS), TFT opening angle of 180 degrees, Extremely fast RAID 0 SSD, High performance, Cool under normal operation, Accessories: sec
Glossy display, Low brightness on battery use, Almost no maintenance and upgrade options, Few interfaces, Short battery life, Sharp-edged chassis
Without question Acer delivers an interesting and high-quality 13-inch ultrabook. It's the better S5-391, because the S7 has by far the higher quality display panel. The Full HD screen competes with the Samsung's Series 9 900X3C-A04DE (HD+) and the Asus Z...
Attractive glass design, Highend hardware configuration, Fullday battery life
Screen limited to 1080p, Too much bloatware
Remove the bloatware and you'll get a powerful notebook in a slim and modern design that will add a lot of visual appeal to your desk...

Extrait: Arguably the most important tool in your academic arsenal as a student is your ultrabook. That sexy, thin, power-sipping marvel in your satchel will see you through the next four years of study, provided nobody spills beer on it first. Here are our picks...

My first glance at the Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook had me thinking “eww… white… no, that's not me”. Further examination reveals a better Ultrabook than I gave it credit for; there's probably an platitude about judging Ultrabooks by their cover in there somew...
It's really refreshing to come to the end of this review and be able to say that I would buy this computer for personal use. Well, if it wasn't so expensive, I would. The price is just a bit hard to swallow. Acer has the machine available for $1649.99...
