Vexatious touch pad and limp speakers aside, the 8951G is rather good. As long as you stay away from Acer's Clear Fi software, you'll likely get some enjoyment out of this laptop.

The Acer Aspire Ethos AS8951G has a huge 1080p 18-inch display, and gets points for inventiveness for its detachable touch-pad remote control. Battery life was also excellent for such a large laptop
