  • Supports RAID1 and Spanned Drives, Very easy to setup, works out of the box, Decent gigabit transfer speeds, Includes USB port to expand on internal storage
  • No on/off button
  • The WD My Book Live Duo takes a really good device and makes it better on all counts. With personal cloud being all the rage, the Duo delivers on all counts and expands on storage capabilities with RAID1. It's dead simple to set up and use, and with the n...

  • Easy setup; simple setting controls; versatility with remote access via DLNA and iOS apps; quiet operation
  • Slow video streaming, $799.99 (6TB); $599.99 (4TB)
  • Six terabytes for $800 isn’t the cheapest storage solution out there, but WD more than makes up for it with the addition of remote access and redundant backups through a RAID setup. Speed of remote video streaming is an issue, though.Related Tags: 4tb...

  • Affordable for the storage involved. Decent speed for the price. Attractive interface and features. iOS and Android support. User-serviceable drives
  • Mobile applications need more work. No active cooling: make sure to leave it upright. Doesn't handle switching networks particularly well
  • Western Digital's MyBook Live Duo is a good entry point into the world of NAS. The lack of active cooling is a concern, though — make sure that it's in a position where it can vent its heat easily....

  • Very easy to install and use, RAID 1, Easily removable drives
  • Web access needs some fine tuning, Drive door a little too loose, Android app didn't work on our HTC Rhyme
  • The WD My Book Live Duo houses two hard drives and offers data redundancy in addition to spanning. It's a simple NAS device to install and use; best of all, if you want to access your data remotely, you don't have to know anything about networking to set...

  • Extrait:  MyBook Live Duo Review. MyBookLive Duo is WD's top-of-the-line wireless storage solution that features a ‘personal cloud'—or the ability of the user to access files remotely via an app in iPhone or Android phone. But what's interesting about MyBook Live Du...

  • Supports both RAID0 and RAID1, media streaming capabilities, quick to setup and configure,
  • No USB 3.0 or printer sharing support
  • The Western Digital Live duo is a capable little network storage device with plenty of room for all your data. I would highly recommend running it in RAID1 mode – even if you have to sacrifice half your storage space, you can sleep soundly knowing that...
