  • Very good Read/Write performance. Feature-loaded. Robust video surveillance capabilities. Plenty of data backup and redundancy options. Integration with various social networking sites and multimedia services like YouTube. Drives easy to install and remov
  • Clunky personal cloud set-up process
  • The Iomega StorCenter ix2-dl is a very good NAS option that can work for power home users or small business. A nice feature set, data redundancy and business capabilities make it almost perfect with the exception of a potentially headache-inducing person...

  • This model fails to meet expectations as far as reliability and performance, but exceeds expectations on security and ergonomics. The user interface is basic and easy to use. Setup is a breeze. Needless to say, purchasing this hard drive will be a diff...

  • The Iomega StorCenter ix2 is a great little NAS in the right environment. The ease of installation is definitely in favour for the SOHO market where technical expertise may not be immediately available. The lack of ability to quickly access the hard ...

  • The size of a brick, its by far the smallest drive in our test. Energy Starcompliant power adapter. Simple Webbased admin. Cheap.
  • Does not work with Apples Time Machine. Power button smaller than a grain of rice. Drives arent serviceable. Lack of Web access is simply a dealkiller, though Iomega says its due shortly.

  • Simple; provides mirrored storage; media server works well
  • Large power supply; can pick up a non-mirrored 1TB Nas far cheaper
  • A simple, if fairly expensive, way to add 1TB of secure network storage for backups ...

  • Extrait:  Reviewing a NAS is probably not at the top of my list of things to do, but the Iomega ix2 is a dead simple network storage solution that works well. The model I reviewed is the 2TB variety and I finally caved and started backing up my files. Even thoug...

  • Extrait:  The acquisition of Iomega by EMC holds promise of new, innovative storage solutions. With Iomegas status as a leader in the consumer and SOHO storage space, and EMCs entrenchment in storage for the enterprise, the latest offering from Iomega combines...
