Eye-popping graphics and effects that put you inside the game. The gameplay is effective and different but constantly challenges your button smashing abilities. Controls are unique but range from simple to complex.
The sound is not used nearly enough and is sometimes needed in important parts of the game. The difficulties are amazingly hard and starting on easy is recommended.
Extrait: A few years ago Ninja Gaiden arguably set the standard for action games. It was loved for many a reason, but if you asked its most ardent fans they would be adamant that they treasured the title because of its firm but fair difficulty level. Regretfull...

Extrait: Ryu Hayabusa returns for a second helping of slicing and dicing. Its an old-fashioned video game that appeals the players bloodiest fascinations. Sometimes, thats a good thing. At first glance, Ninja Gaiden II bears little resemblance to the origin...
Unbelievably fast paced action; Amazing weapon animations; Rewarding challenge; Regenerating health system and obliteration techniques are great additions to an already stellar combat system; Intelligent and extremely aggressive enemy AI.
Frustrating camera; Brutal difficulty may be too much for many gamers to handle; Ocassional frame-rate issues; Weak storyline.
Ninja Gaiden 2 may not be for everyone, but regardless of that it is still one of the deepest and most rewarding pure action games to be found on this current generation of consoles.
Team Ninja has done a good job of once again bringing Ryu Hayabusa back into our world as gamers. While it is comforting to see characters like Link and Mario still around from when I was younger, it is nice to see some of the more violent characters ...
