Extrait: If you've ever played an Xbox in your life, then odds are that you've played Halo: Combat Evolved, which launched the system and captivated millions of players. But the question isn't "How good was it then?" It's "How good is it now?" The answer: It's...
Remastered visuals feature beautiful lighting and environmental detail, Campaign is still exciting and satisfying, Multiplayer maps are great fun to revisit, Iconic soundtrack is still excellent, Switching between classic and remastered presentation is entertaining.
Checkpoint system can be unreliable, Only onethird of the original multiplayer maps are included, Kinect voice commands are largely useless.
Return to Halo with Chris Watters in this review for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. ...

Extrait: The world was a very different place in 2001. Call of Duty hadn't been released yet, Medal of Honor was good, and fans of first-person shooters were still searching for health packs instead of waiting for their health to regenerate automatically. And t...
In the end, Combat Evolved Anniversary is a strange package. Its campaign feels half hearted, neither fully remaking nor preserving the original game. The Reach multiplayer maps, while excellent, feel tacked on to the package to attempt to justify this be...
A great amount of love and care went into creating Halo Anniversary, and the new graphics engine, while not perfect, is an excellent addition to bring Halo players who missed out on the original ten years ago up to speed. Halo Anniversary’s campaign sh...
Extrait: Halo Review1 2 I think it's important to tell you a story about Crewman #1. He might only have one line in the entire of Halo: Combat Evolved - "Behind us! They're right behind us!" - yet our humble and understandingly petrified Crewman #1 is the perfe...
