Certaines fonctions restent peu accessibles
Extrait: Microsoft has provided a glimpse in a new video showing how using the new Xbox One console will work. The video shows why the computing giant went with the numerically confusing name to emphasis the console’s all-in-one-device nature. In the video, we see ...
It's fair to say that the initial debut of the console at E3 was very bumpy, but Microsoft has reversed its policies and basically given to customers what they demanded: the same policies that govern Xbox 360 games today. How this episode will affect sale...
Extrait: In fact, so bad was the tide of anger that washed over Microsoft that just a few weeks after unveiling the console, and much to the aggravation of developers that were actually going to benefit from the strict policies, the company reversed all of its con...
Highly flexible home-theater device, not just a game console, Blu-ray playback, Voice-command features, Enhancements for sports fans
Higher price than competing PS4, partly because Kinect 2.0 is included, Potential heavy-handed game trade-in, sales restrictions, Requires cloud "check ins" to keep operating
The third-gen Xbox One looks to be a big-deal box for those seeking a home-theater one-man band for on-TV streaming, Web browsing, gaming, and much more. Just keep an eye on the restrictions regarding game disposition and required connectivity as the...

Voice controls work remarkably well. TV and OneGuide integration is seamless. Skype, facial recognition, and other features are useful and polished.
No backward compatibility or legacy game options. Voice controls and facial recognition aren't available on Kinect-less $399 version. Gesture controls don't work consistently. PS4's DualShock 4 is a better controller
Microsoft didn't just make a new game system with the Xbox One, it made a comprehensive gaming and home-entertainment hub you can control with your voice. Be prepared to pay a lot for all of these features (especially if you want voice control), but it's...

Extrait: Initially, we couldn't quite decide what we were more surprised about - the fact that it isn't called the Xbox 720 as we have believed for years now and instead shares its name with HTC's latest flagship smartphone , or that it looks like a VCR from the '...

This more affordable Xbox One bundle drops the Kinect and matches the price of the PS4. Microsoft has also killed the paid Xbox Live Gold requirement to access entertainment apps
The Xbox One's dashboard is still confusing at times and the PS4 generally delivers slightly better graphics and performance on multiplatform games so far. Selection of must-have titles is still weak compared to that of previous generation consoles
The cheaper, no-Kinect version of the Xbox One gives buyers a better deal by eliminating the one part of the console they probably didn't want to begin with -- but the PS4 remains a compelling alternative....
Great interface, Kinect is impressive, Snapping works, Strong launch lineup, Easy video sharing
Gold paywall, Controller still uses batteries, No OneGuide in UK
The Xbox One wants to be everything to everyone. Games, movies and music, its lofty ambition is to put all your entertainment in one box. Does Xbox One truly make you master and commander of the living room, or is it all more trouble than it's worth? Allo...
