  • Extrait:  Features With a native resolution of 1920x1080, the HD20 can display virtually all Blu-rays and most HD broadcast channels without scaling, which is why I recommend 1080p displays even for small screen sizes. As with all single-chip DLP displays, you migh...

  • Extrait:  Following their success in the High def market Optoma have released the HD20 to target the emerging budget Full HD market. this unit is stripped down to fit a price but still boasts a few good features and of course the ever important 1920 x 1080 (1080...

  • 1080p HD video for $999, Lightweight, portable design, Very bright, doesn't require total darkness, Long 4,000 hour lamp life potential
  • No lens shift, 4x-speed color wheel reveals minor DLP rainbows, Heavy light spill through front grille, Remote too bright for a darkened home theater environment
  • For $999, Optoma's HD20 represents a giant leap forward in home theater projector value. Although its blacks could be blacker, lens shift is unavailable and you're apt to notice a few jaggies here and there on standard def content, the HD20 still manag...

  • The long lamp life, high contrast ratio and crystal clear picture in dark rooms are amazing,
  • The low keystone correction and low brightness level may not be for everyone.
  • If you want a quality home theater projector from a high-end company this is for you....

  • The Optoma HD20 isn’t without fault. If you are a stickler on black levels and have a hyper sensitivity to color rainbows, the HD20 may not be the projector you are looking for. That being said, the Optoma HD20 packs a serious punch! You are going t...

  • Price, Great plug and play performance, Noise reduction,
  • Marginally adjustable, Poor jaggie reduction, Autosource doesn't give enough time for HDCP, Blinding backlight on remote, Light leakage from front of unit, Loud fan
  • We can't stress enough that the price of this 1080p projector is just amazing. For under a grand you have the ability to get a great big picture for less than the price of a flatscreen at one quarter the size. While it isn't the only sub-$1k proje...
