The iRiver Lplayer is an impressive portable media player. It offers a host of features, has a good quality screen and comes at a low price. Just a few niggling interface and control issues detract from what is otherwise a strong iPod nano competitor.
FM radio; voice recording; bookmarking; subscription music support; multiple sound-enhancement options; support for both Mac and Windows; ultracompact design; nice, bright color display.
Buttons arent always responsive; Test unit came with a bug that caused album names to be displayed in a foreign language; videos must be transferred through software; rated battery life is not great.
The Iriver LPlayer is a pint-size version of the well-received U20. You get most of the same features in a smaller package offered at a pared-down price point.
