I've been very happy with the Katana so far, headphone issues notwithstanding. I like my computer audio loud and immersive. No, you don't need to spend what Creative is asking to enjoy quality sound on a Mac, but I doubt many people will be disappointed...

No HDMI support, Wired (and short) subwoofer cable
For 1199 AED, the Creative SoundBlasterX Katana isn't cheap since there are better performing speakers in its price bracket. It's a still a very capable soundbar, if only they'd make the subwoofer cable longer for us to place it anywhere – or better yet...
