Lack of optical image stabilization built into body (as we are seeing on many of the new Sony models)

Excellent image quality; Improved high-ISO performance; Better JPEG quality; Fast autofocus; Very good subject tracking with real-time live view feature; All-magnesium body construction; 4K video,
Slow buffer clearing (no UHS-II support); No touchscreen, Clunky menus; Wi-Fi can be a bit frustrating to use,
The A7 cameras, especially the later Mark II models, maybe seem to be the brighter stars in the Sony mirrorless firmament, but the A6300 definitely deserves a place here as the more compact – and essentially cheaper – alternative. Only the original A7 cos...
It's hard to find fault with this camera. Yes, it's expensive, but not crazily so. I'd imagine that there'll be better deals available for the A6300 if you're willing to wait a few months.Price aside, it's a camera that delivers everything you could want...
The Sony A6300 delivers class-leading photo and video quality, plus good performance and features for shooting action
Myriad small annoyances mar the experience and it has the trademark poor battery life of Sony's A series. Plus it really could use in-body image stabilization

Compared with other cameras in this price range the a6300 is short on instantly accessible controls
The a6300 is a fine camera that competes with the Olympus OMD E-M1 ($1300) and the Fujifilm X-T1 ($1138) both of which are configured as more serious cameras. The Sony wins for its 4K video and widescreen monitor and exceptional auto focus function. Both...
The ILCE-α6300's improved AF system certainly appears to offer faster lock-on and better tracking of moving subjects than the system in the previous camera. But its lack of consistency is concerning, particularly for photographers who favour moving subjec...
Extrait: Contributor Maarten Heilbron recently compared the Sony A6300 with the A6000 and put both through a rigorous test. The above video includes examples and demonstrations, detailed menu walk through. For behind the scenes details, read Maarten's blog at maar...
Compact design and good build quality, Superb autofocus speeds and tracking, Good ISO performance, 4K video support, Can be charged through USB
Battery life could be better, No touchscreeninput, Menu system isn't the most user friendly
Sony's A6300 costs a bomb, which puts it somewhere in the vicinity of bigger DSLRs such as Canon's 70D. However, we feel it's certainly one of the best mirrorless cameras currently out there, given the of performance and features it offers in such a compa...
