The NX10 is a great first effort for Samsung’s entry into the mirrorless camera market. There are so many features that make the NX10 a pleasant camera to operate. There’s no doubt that the NX10 is a user-friendly camera. And, what’s more, is that i...
Very good photo quality (though see issues below), Compact, SLRstyle body with NXmount interchangeable lenses; good build quality in most respects, Beautiful 3inch AMOLED display with excellent color, contrast, and viewing angle, Nice live view implementation: fast autofocus, live histogram, face detection, grid lines, and more, High resolution (but small) electronic viewfinder, Full manual contr
Camera consistently underexposes (not by much, though), High ISO performance not as good as competition, Main display and EVF difficult to see in extreme lighting conditions, Continuous shooting mode hampered by lack of buffer memory, No "true" continuous AF in movie mode; camera cuts off last 1/2 second of video, Rightside blurriness with kit lens (though it may be my particular lens), No way to
For many years, Samsung has mainly been producing ho-hum compact cameras and rebadged Pentax digital SLRs. Their announcement of the NX system in 2009 caused quite a stir in the industry, and more than a year later, I must say that I'm impressed with ...
Extrait: For many existing and prospective photographers, the size of the DSLR is usually the main drawback they find when thinking of taking the next step in their photography. Always wanting the best image quality possible but wanting a compact form fact...

Shutter lag longest in the class, Quirky user's manual, 72 dpi image output,
mall, mirrorless digital cameras with interchangeable lenses are on the upswing; Panasonic and Olympus have been joined by Samsung with the NX10 and Sony's entry into the competition has just been formally announced. You have to wonder how long it migh...
Extrait: mage quality is very good with good detail and low noise up to ISO 400, and ISO 800 is very usable. Exposure metering is accurate and dependable. CA is non existent using the 18-55mm kit lens. We found the NX10's autofocus to be precise and fast, even ...

Difficult to follow subjects in continuous mode (true of all current SLDs), Dead pixels appear near high-contrast vertical elements, Jello-effect is noticeable not just in videos, but also in live view, Viewfinder hump makes the NX10 taller than smalle...
Samsung came out swinging with its very tight NX10, a Single-Lens Direct-view, interchangeable-lens digital camera with an APS-C sensor. The Samsung NX10 is built very well, with a tight frame, good looks, and a great fit in the hand. It also shoots pr...
Compact build with interchangeable lenses. D-SLR-like image quality and focusing speed. Negligible shutter lag. OLED screen offers extraordinary contrast and very little motion blur. Intuitive and attractive user interface. 720p30 HD video capture.
Included lens produces soft images. Noise at ISO 1600 and higher. No optical viewfinder. Limited lens and accessory selection. No microphone input.
Samsung's first Micro-Four-Thirds competitor holds its own when it comes to speed and performance, but a proprietary lens system and limited compatible accessories detract from the overall package....
Extrait: When Panolympus announced in late 2008 the upcoming release of their first micro 4/3 cameras, Samsung stood up at the back of the assembly hall and, while jumping up and down waving their hand frantically, shouted Nobody really paid any attention...
The Samsung NX10 did do well in some of our video testing—particularly in the area of color accuracy. Unfortunately, however, the video captured by the camera didn't look all that good compared to what a Full HD camcorder is capable of producing. The ...

Comfortable, intelligent design; nice LCD; capable of producing excellent images
Default image settings could be better, sensor cleaning on resume from standby, middling EVF, no override for EVF eye sensor, annoying raw software
While there are enough drawbacks to keep the Samsung NX10 from being a no-brainer choice among interchangeable-lens cameras, it's still a well-designed model that's fun to shoot with and capable of producing very nice photos.
