  • Good controls, Compact, Well-built, Intelligent Auto mode, 25mm wide angle with 4x zoom, 720 pixel HD Movie mode, 16:9 aspect ratio for still and movie captures, A good selection of Scene modes, Lens-shift image stabilization, Face detection sets focus...
  • Only average printed results, Poor LCD menu system with confusing controls, Slide show presentations disappoint, Soft corners at all focal lengths, High contrast in outdoor images, Noise at even the lowest ISO leaves grainy artifacts, muddles detail, S...
  • The Panasonic FX35 is a well-built digicam with an impressive piece of glass, the Leica DC-Vario Elmarit that starts at a very wide 25mm equivalent and extends 4x to 100mm. Unfortunately that was where the fun stopped. The Panasonic FX35s menu system ...

  • Good photo quality, less noise reduction than previous models (though see issues below), Super wide 25 100 mm lens, Optical image stabilization, Ultracompact metal body; comes in three colors, Sharp 2.5" LCD with excellent outdoor and low light vi...
  • Images on the noisy side, especially in shadow areas; still some NR artifacting, Slightly soft photos; corner blurriness can be an issue, Lens is lacking in the telephoto department, More manual controls would be nice, No optical viewfinder, Small butt...
  • Panasonics Lumix DMC-FX35 breaks new ground in ultra-compact cameras. Offering a 25 - 100 mm lens, the FX35 offers the second widest lens youll find in this class, with only the Samsung NV24 HD ahead of it. Add optical image stabilization, a really n...

  • 25mm wide-angle lens. Intelligent LCD. Intelligent Auto mode has been improved. Very little noise at high ISO settings.
  • No joystick controller like on other F-series cameras. Small 2.5-inch LCD. No optical viewfinder. Flash underexposes images.
  • With the latest model in its FX line, Panasonic has added some nice features but also took out its excellent joystick controller. This move lands the camera right back in the middle of the pack of midrange pocket shooters....

  • Extrait:  The 10.1-megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 has one of the widest lenses offered in a pocket-sized point-and-shoot digital camera. The 4x Leica optical zoom is 25mm at the wide end with an f/2.8-5.6 aperture and Panasonic’s MEGA O.I.S. optical image st...

  • Versatile wide-angle lens, Helpful Intelligent Scene Selector, Tasteful, solid design
  • Erratic Macro mode, Noisy images at higher ISOs, Fixed focus and zoom in Movie mode
  • Panasonic crams a lot into the Lumix DMC-FX35, including an expansive zoom range that’s perfect for landscape photos and an innovative Intelligent Scene Selector. However, its overall picture quality was inconsistent, keeping the FX35 from being a t...

  • Simple, straightforward controls, Good lens performance/Image quality, Good shutter response,
  • Monitor can be hard to use in bright conditions/no viewfinder, Panasonic Lumix DMCFX35
  • On first examination, the Panasonic FX35 seems to be a rather typical standard zoom compact digital – 4x optical zoom, stabilization, 2.5 inch LCD monitor, 100-1600 ISO range, and the usual suite of auto and scene shooting options. The zoom is a bit w...

  • 25mm wide angle and optical stabilisation, Slim body and shorter than many rivals too, Very good Intelligent Auto mode, HD video recording but no zoom.
  • Noise becomes a problem above 200 ISO, Little or no manual control, HD movies still no match for a camcorder, 10x zoom and 3in screen of TZ5 are tempting.
  • With only six months between the FX35 and its predecessor, Panasonic could have simply increased the resolution and improved the auto mode, but we’re pleased to also find a brand new lens with unusually wide angle coverage and HD video recording cap...
