Interestingly, the argument for/against the E-P3, now that were have a Micro Four Thirds 'CSC' camera in its third iteration, is not whether it's good enough to completely replace a DSLR - as with its predecessors we'd argue image quality falls slight...
Extrait: The Olympus E-P3 is the third model in the flagship Micro Four Thirds lineup known as PEN cameras, which got started with the E-P1 . I've been using the Olympus E-P3 for a couple of days now and wanted to give you some of my initial thoughts on the new ca...
Extrait: New sensor, same sensor, or modified sensor…those were frequent questions in the run-up prior to Olympus launching their new PEN models, and specifically the Olympus E-P3. The consensus has largely been a modified version of the sensor found in previou...
Builtin flash (finally), fast autofocus, OLED screen, manual movie and CAF features
Poor subject tracking, a little expensive, no standard microphone port, poor battery life
The E-P3 is an impressive Micro Four Thirds camera. It's well built, looks the part and takes great pictures to high ISO settings too. The inclusion of a new built-in flash and AF illuminator finally lays to rest the complaints of previous models. Furt...

The Olympus PEN E-P3 is an attractively designed camera that's now one of the fastest in its class.
Poor video quality and suboptimal default image settings aren't that great, so you really need to shoot raw to get good results at midrange to high ISO sensitivities.
While the Olympus PEN E-P3 shoots out in front of its class for performance and holds its own on features and design, it's a bit expensive and you'll need to tweak its JPEG settings to get the most out of its images.
The E-P3 boasts one of the fastest auto focus systems available in a compact interchangeable lens camera. There's plenty to like about this third gen Pen.
The Olympus E-P3 is the newest flagship Micro Four Thirds camera from the co-creators of the format, and it is definitely a mix of old and new. We don’t just mean that it’s pushing forward with the retro styling that made the E-P2 and E-PL2 so popular...
