  • 3 inch articulated touch-screen, Excellent 16 Megapixel image quality, 1080p30 movies with manual exposure, High degree of customisation, Built-in stabilisation, Access to large native lens catalogue.
  • IS not as good as some optical systems, AF hesitant in movie modes, 16:9 screen ill-suited to 4:3 stills, No WiFi or GPS accessories.
  • The mirrorless compact system camera market now offers more choice than ever before and, with the addition of Canon's EOS M it promises to become even more crowded. By giving the E-PL5, and presumably any upcoming PEN models, the same sensor as the Fl...

  • Extrait:  The Olympus E-PL5 (also known as the Olympus PEN Lite) is a new mid-range compact system camera. Featuring the same 16-megapixel “Live MOS” sensor and TruePic VI image processor as the flagship Olympus OM-D E-M5, the EPL5 offers the world's fastest auto-f...

  • Extrait:  If you were more in love with the E-M5's mind than its body, now you can have much the same set of capabilities repackaged in a compact-style camera. So much has happened since Olympus kicked off the whole mirrorless thing with the E-P1, it's easy to f...

  • Focusing, Screen, In-camera filters
  • Won't know until we test it
  • Olympus has given the new version of the PEN Lite a handgrip to make it a little more comfortable to use. It has also improved the screen and the in-camera filters and focusing, making the E-PL5 a better offering than the E-PL3 that it replaces...

  • Excellent flip-up touchscreen. Good image quality. Easy to hold and to use for beginners. Flash Air cards for wireless connectivity work well
  • No built-in flash. Internal microphone not the best for audio recording. Interlaced rather than progressive video recording
  • Olympus has churned out a very nice camera in the form of the Pen Lite E-PL5, which will satisfy many photographers looking for an upgrade from their compact camera or smartphone....
